Other 'host' cities for the World Cup include:

  • Port Elizabeth (also known as Mandela Bay) PE will host 8 World Cup matches.
Small town on the coast, King's Beach is great, but can be a windy city.

  • Polokwane (formerly Pietersburg) On the border of the Kruger National park, the weather will be the best during our winter, dry and fairly hot (22 C avg). Not a lot to do except go on safari...

  • Rustenburg

Another relatively small town about 2 hours north of Johannesburg. Famous for the platinum mines and one of the richest tribes in Africa (The Bafokeng) who own the land. Close to Sun City which is a great reason to visit.
